TEEVOT with a ball on the tee, low on the turf of a tree-lined fairway

Pacific Northwest · Since 2025

Built by engineers who play golf

Our story

First Step Golf started with two friends in the Pacific Northwest, a software engineer and a rocket engineer, who couldn't stop thinking about golf. We tried every training aid on the market. Most were made for the range, too bulky to carry, or told us how a swing should feel instead of showing what the club and ball were actually doing.

So we started building our own. We still practice through rain, wind and 25°F mornings. If something works here, it works anywhere.

How we build

Physics first

Golf is physics. We design around what the club and ball actually do, not around a feeling. Get the physics right, and feel follows.

Built for the course

Most training aids stay on the range. Ours are made for the tee box and the green in a real round, where habits actually form.

Small enough to carry

If it doesn't fit in a pocket and take seconds to set up, it won't get used. Everything we make is small, simple and tough.
